Next Level Football Camp is open to all student-athletes in grades 9th through 12th. We separate the campers by position to receive hands-on teaching and guidance from a selective group of former and current college athletes along with high school coaches across Michigan. The staff provides full-time supervision for all campers and parents are welcome to attend all activities.
Here are the camp objectives:
All activities will take place at Ypsilanti High School, MI.
What Will I Be Taught?
Next Level staff will conduct in-depth instruction geared specifically
toward individual techniques in all aspects of football. Practice
sessions will consist of fundamentals of each position, speed work and
agility drills, game strategies, real life lessons, and team
competition. Furthermore, the staff will emphasize our core values and
personal responsibility throughout each activity.
Meals
Next Level Football Camp understands the importance of food intake and
nutritional conditioning. We serve each camper a continental breakfast
and a lunch along with fluids and water. On the last day, we serve the
campers pizza as a reward for their hard work and dedication throughout
the camp.
What To Bring?
Campers will receive the OFFICIAL NEXT LEVEL FOOTBALL CAMP UNIFORM
(T-shirt ) during check-in. The camp is non-contact; therefore, we do
not use football pads or helmets as part of activities at the camp.
Camp uniforms are required for all practice sessions. Campers
are responsible for their own belongings and Next Level Football Camp
assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen money or items.

Medical Care
All campers must complete the medical wavier form prior to camp participation.
Length of Camp
The High School camp will last 2 days July 25 and July 26, 2009.
The camp will start at 8:00 a.m. and run until 4:30 p.m. At
approximately 12:00 p.m., athletes will eat lunch to refuel and take an
extended break. Campers should arrive at the school before 8:15 a.m.
and picked up at approximately 4:00 p.m. each day.
Coaches/Mentors
The
coaches/mentors will include successful men throughout the community
who have succeeded on and off the field throughout the community. Most
coaches/mentors will be from the community. We also have a chance to
get some prolific players who have played or are playing college
football throughout the country.
Nutrition
The
coaches/mentors will be giving the athletes instruction of how and what
to eat as an athlete. As an athlete it is very important to eat the
correct thing to keep you in shape. Along with that we will have
information up everyday on different meal plans for breakfast, lunch,
and dinner.
Collecting Data
Coaches/mentors
will monitor and chart athlete’s weight lifting numbers, agility, and
speed numbers. We chart the numbers on paper and then convert it to
our Next Level Sports performance-training database. When the athletes
come back to the camp the following year, we can see how much
improvement they have made over the previous year. The athletes can
also use this as a great foundation for the upcoming season. Each
athlete will receive a hard copy of their performance improvements and
data along with the knowledge that we store each athlete’s data in our
database for future use.
College Connection
With
the high caliber coaches/mentors and the testing that we provide at
this camp, it will be great for athletes to get looked at. Most of the
coaches/mentors have connections with one or more of the numerous
universities across the nation and this camp can be an avenue for
student-athletes to get the exposure they may not receive without
paying for the more expensive university camps. In the future, this
camp can become a direct link for college coaches to find
student-athletes for athletic scholarships. With our staff of
coaches/mentors knowing numerous college coaches along with the testing
that we administer during the camp, the sky is the limit for these
sometimes-overlooked suburban and rural student-athletes.
Speakers
The
speakers at the camp could be anyone of the coaches/mentors. The
coaches/mentors will all have a positive story that will relate with
the student’s achievements both on and off the field. All of the
coaches/mentors can use our connections to try to get a well-known
athlete to come back and speak to the campers. We even have had a few
NFL athletes from our own community that can come back to speak at the
camp.
