E.V.E. Clothing Drive 2008

E.V.E. stands for Everyone Values Everyone. Our goal was to collect items from November 20 until December16th, 2008 and distribute the clothes to needy families in the Ypsilanti School District. Many families at Chapelle Community School Donated items that someone else could use.

In the end our clothing drive was able to help over 130 different families from this community. The blessings continued this year for many families even though our economy is going through hard times.

Ypsilanti Pride Day 2008

Ypsilanti Pride is a community wide clean up day that encompasses a large geographic area including the city of Ypsilanti, Ypsilanti Township and Superior Township.

Ypsilanti Pride typically consists of a host of various projects, concentrating on a multitude of things that help beautify our hometown(s). Over 2000 people are expected to join in to plant flowers and shrubs, pick up trash, sweep streets, wash windows, powerwash storefronts, rake, and paint.
