Next Level Football All-First Team 2008

Offense


QB-Devin Gardner-Inkster
Catch him if you can. Devin might be the state’s best QB next year. Lead Inkster to its 2nd title game in 2 years. Look for undefeated season with him at the helm.

QB- Andrew Dillon-Ypsilanti Lincoln
The most underrated athlete around. He has big time division 1 talent as a dual threat Quarterback. He’s been a starter on varsity since his freshman year.

RB-Nick Hill-Chelsea
Ran for 2,260 yards and 29 TDs. He is the high school version of Mike Heart. He is a power runner with great speed and quickness.

RB-Austin White-Livonia Stevenson
Probably the states most physically gifted running back. He ran for 1,603 and 25 TDs. Oh yeah, he has one more year to play.

WR-Evan Kourtjian – Saline
Evan was Mr. Dependable for Saline. He had over 1,400 hundred yards receiving. Averaging an outstanding 127.5 yds. per game.

WR-Donald Spenser-Ypsilanti
Donald was a big time receiver this season. He made a verbal commitment MSU this past summer.

WR- Cameron Gordon-Inkster
Standing about 6’2’’ 220lbs. he is a massive receiver. He has great hands and big time play ability. He will be a good player at the next level.

OL- Charlie Chapman-Carlton Airport
6’7’’ and a mountain of a young man. Anchored the line at Carlton Airport. Scouts really love this kid size.

OL-Esham Farha –Ann Arbor Pioneer
He is the most athletic lineman on this team. Next year in the S.E.C. Conference he will dominate opponents.

OL-Mason Cole-Temperace Bedford
A tough hard-nose kid. Mason was a great leader on and off the field for Bedford this season.

OL-Justin Sneddon-Canton
Justin was a key player in the playoff run his team had this year. He has been consistent for the chief for the past few years.

Ath/QB-Nadar Farha-Ann Arbor Pioneer
One of the areas most deadly dual threats. He is the only Quarterback that had 1,000 + yards passing and 1,500 running. He will be a steal for some college program.

Defense


DB-Brandis Yarrington-Pioneer
Brandis returned kickoffs, punts and even blocked them. He is a shut down corner with a lot of attitude. Look for him to be All-State next year.

DB-Alan Freeman-Inkster
Alan is a dynamic running back, defensive-back, and return- man. He ran for 1600 yards on 114 carries and 16 TDs. He might be the most talented athlete in this group.

DB-Hassan Amen-Fordson
Call him “pick six”.  He had an outstanding 8 interceptions this year. When the ball was in the air, he got it. He has a real knack for the ball.

DB-Mark Grisa-Livonia Stevenson
Mark is another stingy defender. He had a team high 7 interceptions. Grisa was the glue to the defense this year.

DL-Dylan Farrington-Adrian
Dylan was a terror for all of the opponents he faced this season. His long frame and aggressive play will have him playing on Saturdays next fall.

LB-Nores Fsradi-Dearborn
This physical linebacker averaged 13 tackles. He even had an 18 tackle game against Fordson. He had 134 total tackles while patrolling the middle for the Pioneers.

LB-Keith Marks-Willow Run
Keith is a flat out player. This wirey athlete has averaged 100 plus tackles the last three years. He is a tackling machine.

LB-Matt Price-Saline
6’3’’ 220 lbs. he ruled the S.E.C. Conference with 156 tackles and 8 sacks. College scouts can’t wait to see him in camp next year.

LB-Denzel Richmond-Inkster
The leader in the middle for Inkster. Denzel flew from sideline to sideline making big plays all year.

DL-David Box-Milan
David is a monster. He is a rare bread, standing 6’2’’ and running a 4.7 at 285 lbs. David has committed to Western Michigan University.

DL-Brandon Lane-Livonia Franklin
Bandon had 97 tackle and 4 sacks from his defensive end position. At 6’4’’ and 230lbs., he became a dominate force this season.

K-Jeremy Ross-Ann Arbor Pioneer
The most consistent kicker in the area. He is undersized, but he has a big leg. Look for him to have a big senior year.

Coach of the Year

Greg Carter- Inkster
Coach Carter has brought pride and joy to the Inkster football program. He will continue to make this football team a state contender.
